Understand the position, threat and have a plan. Subject to your entry play there are between 13 and 18 opportunities for White to point on your head. Simple rule of thumb calculation. Blue urgently needs an anchor having a man sent back could be an aid. In your play look for duplication and unstacking oppurtunities.

(1) Play 4 first bar/21 24/22 18 chances for white to point on head 2 duplicated no unstack

(2) Bar/21 13/11 13 chances for white to point on head, 2 and 3 duplicated and unstack

(3) Bar/21 6/4 13 chances for white to point on head 2 and 3 duplicated and unstack.

(4) Bar/23 24/20 18 chances for white to point on head 2 duplicated no unstack.

(5) Bar/23 14/10 13 chances for white to point on head no duplication no unstack.

(6) Bar/23 13/9 13 chances for white to point on head no duplication unstack.

That reveals (2) and (3) as candidates. I dont like the idea of white promoting his runner with a hit so (3) is out.
