The issue of 'normalized' equity is not at all what I'm getting after. it seems very clear to me that an error of .3 on an initial cube offer is enormously amplified if it is a re-cube from 4 to 8.

I really don't think this is a discussion in which clarity can be enhanced in *any way* by reference to Match-winning equities in various end-bounded contests. Lets' keep it as simple as possible and just talk about $ play, and chouettes as an extension.
