The kibitzer had every right and, indeed in my opinion, the obligation to bring any irregularity to the attention of the director. The director is then charged with evaluating the situation and acting, or not acting.

A kibitzer may not personally interfere in a match in any way. In this circumstance, the kibitzer did not.

The kibitzer in this circumstance was a very experienced, accomplished player of the highest integrity. He acted correctly. His integrity should not be questioned -- no one is more ethical.
