*shrug* It only requires the smallest of movement to ensure that the die isn't leaning against the wall. That's what we're trying to assess.

From the pictures, I'm pretty sure anyone in my retinue would call it legal on sight. But if you want to be extra sure for some reason, I think it's a valid test.
