I vote no.

I find it distracting to play with two different sets of rules. I have played poorly when I have tried the new rule. Many players have told me they find having two sets of rules distracting. That includes some who like the new rule and some who do not. Five of six clubs in Illinois are using the old rule with no intention of changing. I believe that the sixth is reconsidering. The Chicago chouette uses the old rule. Its easier to give up the ABT than local play. This rule has polarized the game - and for what? The USBGF should admit it made a mistake and take the only action which will fix the problem.

Polarizing policies are doomed to failure. If the USBGF wants to grow the game, it must begin with the message, "Everyone is welcome here".
