What is the point of having a criminal justice system if you don't give any credence to the outcome of a trial?

We know that, tragically, a woman is dead, but it does not automatically follow that he murdered her; it is for the trial to determine this.

You have already made your mind up on this case, and you may well be right in your belief in his guilt, but the jury will be better placed to consider all of the evidence, and if they DO find him not guilty then there surely must have been good reasons for that, like reasonable doubt at the very least.

If all that you state is true then it sounds like his defence team is up against it in this trial. But IF he is acquitted then he should be treated as if he is innocent; is that not an important principle? You don't have to invite him round for tea, but you should be prepared to play him if you enter a tournament.

If he is guilty of this I hope and trust they will throw the book at him.
