Yup, Blue 4/6 was the first variant I checked as well. Certainly instructive, going from 1.083 to 0.833. I adjusted further, though, looking for a cusp (cube decision within .01), to keep with Paul's theme.

Your 4/6 variant is the same as mine, except I moved the other two 4pt checkers forward to the 3pt, which creates a borderline No Double. It is the third diagram here, though it is also copied below for convenience.

Even a spare on the 3pt is useful, which you'll note by comparing the result of the above position with the result of the position below (which, BTW, is also an easy redouble -- margin of .038 by 5k rollout not shown).

It is, of course, far better to have three checkers on the 4pt (Stick's original position, 1.083 pass) than three on the 3pt. But three on the 3pt (the double by .051) easily beats two on the 4pt plus a fifth on the 6pt (the borderline double shown in the first diagram).
