DQ 1: Magriel bold?

I am restarting a DQ series (thus this message is DQ 1). The goal is for donkeys like me to learn from y'all.

I really hope you offer your feedback. More concretely, what will help us most(me for sure) is seeing your analytical approach to these positions.

As customary, I will post the ROs a couple of days later.

Here we go. Obviously the first decision to make is whether to hit or run. White has a better board. Blue has one more back than white, but no advanced anchor. A return hit would hurt, albeit potentially setting up a 1-2 backgame. Thus hard to tell whether to go bold or safe.
