I like your idea of a tournament where every round is either a different starting position or a different variation of backgammon, such as sassan, nackgammon, etc. The length of each match could be based on the average time it takes to complete a game of that variation or of that starting position. Not sure what you would call this, the Backgammon: Fesitival; Jamboree; Creative Players Championship. Where do I send my deposit?
