More fun with rules -- the fast grab

In my opinion, if you don't nicely remind your opponent that he is fast-grabbing when it first happens, or after one or two times, then "ethically" you've given up your rights to call it on him later.
I don't quite agree with this.
Suppose player A (being human) picks up the dice too soon -- just once in a while at first, then more and more often as the match goes on. Player B is human too, and and doesn't think it's worth the fuss to say anything at first, but later finds the early pickup is becoming distracting. It is perfect fine (legally and ethically) for B to start enforcing the rule partway through the match.
I do agree it is nice to give a few warnings first. The idea is to get your opponent to slow down, not to extract a time penalty from him.
