Yes, but maybe it's also too little a sample for you to judge players the other way around, putting them on the B-team?
I do agree with you, that the team this year contained some internationally unknown players, who seemed to be performing not too good under the pressure of stepping up to the DK vs World pressure.
But I can assure you, that these players a performers over time.
This year, Karsten Bredahl was helping out the DK team as captain I think. He polled the DBgF forum to ask which players he members would like to see play. And I think that's the reason why the team turned out to contain more local Danish profiles, than it did before. Mik Larsen and Tue Rex have been among the very best performing players in Denmark for the last few years, with Tue sitting firmly on the number one ranked spot for long periods of time. But that is of course a result of other types of matches played - typically long matches (17 pointers) in the team leagues, with less money on the line.
I don't know how you define A and B teams? But I guess Denmark have a huge B team, with a lot of players in the category just below world class. (again, how would you define that).
Mads Andersen was missing in the lineup is you ask me, but take a player like PJT - he wasn't in the lights of the DBgF players polling, simply because he has not been an active player in the DBgF for years now (living abroad). And so on...
