.Also,I do not know your experience with bots, but I suppose it's not much.

Incorrect, but that's ok. I do thank you for your other comments. A couple of my own:

First, you can look for plays that a human player would never make or be unlikely to make, and that can be good evidence that the player is not human. But what is obviously a bot-like play to one, may not be to another. Of the three positions posted in this thread, only the third one below looks, to me, like an unlikely play for a nonbot to make quickly.

Second, if a player is 100% bot with no human intervention, all of the bot's plays, not just a few odd ones, must match some bot with some settings. I acknowledge that those settings could be very sophisticated, for instance, switching plies from play to play, or even intentionally choosing an occasional random or bad play.

Third, you can also look at plays that don't matter, like aris29's move 65. aris 29 played 8/4 7/2. A human could play such a move at random (since it doesn't matter), but when no equity is at stake, bots will make different plays with different settings, so that could help identify the bot being used.

Fourth, pocketchain's move 63 is a play no good human or bot would make, which raises the question of how to program a bot that plays well to make dumb plays sometimes. Pocketchain played 5/off 3/2.

The three positions:

DMP. Blue will play 2-1 20/18* 6/5*.

Gnubg 2-ply plays 20/18* 6/5*, 3-ply plays 16/15 7/5*, 4-ply plays 20/18* 6/5*. Blue's play looks like a good attempt to retime the game, given that Blue has let White into a multi-point backgame with fine timing.

Neil already commented - 4/3* is clear, 3/1 leaves a long-term problem. 5/3 or 10/8 are reasonable. 10/8 gets 21 cover numbers, 5/3 gets 19, but maybe this game is so won that it's better not to have 2 outfield blots in case White rolls 3-3 3-1 or 3-2 and Blue fans on a 2- or 3-point board.

Whatever bot(s) these players are, it does not seem likely to be Gnubg, on any ply:
