Some questions/comments re: opening roll RO's

The general question is: do rollouts performed by the two (equal) strongest bots that home PC's can reasonably handle give the most meaningful results?

Suppose player A plays at GNU-bg 0-ply level and player B plays at GNU-bg 1-ply level. Wouldn't it be more meaningful to roll out the openings with these settings?

Obviously you can't create a bot (or customize bot settings) which plays exactly like any given player or pair of players. However, you might be able to get closer that XG_T-rex vs. XG_T-rex.

These same issues are applicable to any analysis/rollout, not just the openings.
