The gammons are higher (of course) and I'm ignoring whether it's a cube or not. That's not the focus. The focus I thought was you and your (under)estimation of gammons in 'similar' positions. Part of the problem may be me trying to analyze your play from your words though. Again, only you can currently know what types of positions you're talking about.

In my variant I tossed 3 more checkers in the zone on a different point and moved the defender's loan rear blot forward to put it more under attack (which also took our racing lead from 19 pips to 32 pips) and all of that only resulted in a 4% increase in gammons. That's virtually nothing for the changes I made. I was trying to point out what you maybe should or shouldn't be focusing on when estimating gammons in these types of positions. The 20pt anchor and a man on the bar will be relatively low gammons with many more men in the zone unless there's other juicy outfield blots to shoot at or more inner board points already made or the opponent has no inner board whatsoever or the high anchor is only 21pt anchor or or or.
