Mathematics of cube decisions relative to bankroll

I am one of those people who believes it is not possible to apply mathematics to money-management, because, in my opinion, money-management is anti-mathematical. It is based, instead, on issues outside of the odds of winning and losing from a specific position, but rather on emotional issues concerning how much someone is willing to lose or invest at a given moment in time, or how much he "believes" the win or loss might affect his future equity as a result of losing a fish or possibly not getting paid.
I am not saying that money-management is wrong. I am just saying that it cannot be reasonably measured with math.
That is not to say that proper settlements cannot be measured mathematically...of course they can. With help from Jake and Danny, I published an article years ago on settlements. But a fair settlement is not the same a cutting your potential losses, or your opponent's, by making anything other than a fair, math-based settlement.
