UBK: Instead of a match to 9 how about a match to 36 with each game starting with centered cube at 4 with Crawford game being first game that a player reaches 32 or 33 or 34 or 35 points?

Maik Stiebler: I wouldn't mind playing that variation in a side event, but I like Phil's even more.

How do you think the strategy in Bob's variant differs from playing, let's say, a normal 9 point backgammon match?
