I said he's a great player. He's better than I am. Sure, I wish I was as good. Maybe I will be one day. Probably I won't. No shame there.

I'm not denigrating him. Never did I say a mean word about Petko. He's not only a great player but he's also a really nice guy - has been at every encounter I've ever had with him and every one I've seen him have with every other person.

I'm simply injecting a dose of reality into the equation. A reality that still, I feel, puts Petko solidly in the top 5 players in the world.

I try to deal in realities. Not smoke and mirrors. You just acknowledged that he probably has a 3.0 average or close to it. So, how did my initial statement denigrate him, exactly, when I said the same as you just did… just without all the run-around?
