Against a backgame, hit or not?

60 pips is more than enough to play this backgame.

If there is a hit it is by our back checker - no sense in creating a problem for us if we roll 3's or 4's next.

Often with no structure by our opponent we hit to increase gammons. The non hit is probably going to win more but a 5th or 6th checker back increase gammon chance by a fair amount.

I don't know if we get enough more gammons here or not by hitting. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. But if I hit it is definitely by the back checker.
