Against a backgame, hit or not?

According to Mochy, the 4-2 backgame needs at least 43 pips of timing. So, white's timing while not stellar is fairly solid. By hitting we do improve white's timing, but the extra gammon wins might justify hitting.

Since I don't really know what's right, I'm hitting.
