After bar/18, white hits with every roll except 11, 12, & 13. After bar/21 4/1*, white hits with everything but 25 ( 26, 65, 55, & 66 miss the homeboard blots but whack the runner)

Seems to me that the best long term strategy might be to make an anchor and wait for the storm to pass. bar/21 4/1* starts down that path. bar/18 seems like a recipe for getting closed out on the bar, with possibly a second checker being picked up.

I'll say bar/21 4/1*, but it might be the QF talking here.
