I see and understand now, after reading everything, how 4/3*(2) 11/11(2) is best. But, I (unfortunately) would have not made that play OTB. I am trying to understand why. When I first saw the position, I thought, Blue needs to hit, 4/3*(2), for tempo. I simply missed then seeing that 11/10 brings checker to bear on the open 4 point. I hope to have learned from this, and think it was worthwhile (even though my team didn't get to play for several days.)
