Randomness - dice size / outcome

After a certain number of shakes/turns/tumbles/rotations further randomness become a diminishing return.

To say that 1/2" dice give a more random result than 9/16" dice is, I suspect, like saying that shuffling 15 times gives a more random result than shuffling 13 times, when anything after 7 starts to have significantly finishing returns on randomness. True but relatively meaningless.

Dice are dropped in the cup. Dice are shaken. Dice are tripped. Dice tumble.

Voodoo might leave you thinking that the results aren't random at that point. But unless someone is cheating you can be fairly certain that no matter the results that they are sufficiently random regardless of what size dice you are using.
