Very often positions arise when a knowledge of doubling windows and MWC is not essential to arrive at a good decision. A simple knowledge of roll odds is enough. It is obvious that white is winning by a gnats ****. There is a 66% chance that blue will miss the hit. This is Russian roulette .Should blue not roll a 6 unless its a double 6 he may have to play his home board to stay safe, could look messy. Whatever happens white has the timing to stay out off trouble on his roll and blue is under the cosh again. Obviously blue would be wise to hold his hand, no cube. One cannot predict a winner with certainty. Should blue double white will take, after all he is favourite and at this match score can afford the risk. One roll at a time white is favourite on the first.
