O.K., I guess I misunderstood what you were saying. So for example, the gammon value in your value vector is just what people normally refer to as the gammon value or the gammon price? I agree that this number is useful, but I have never seen anyone refer to this as the "cubeless" gammon price. In the original context of the discussion, "cubeless" was being used to refer not to the gammon value, but the probability of winning a gammon. It's the cubeless probability of winning a gammon (in your sense) that I thought you were referring to, and that I didn't think anyone had ever tried to compute. In the absence of a rollout, people just use money-game cubeless probabilities, right? And when doing a rollout, Snowie just played the checkers according to its notion of money-game cubeless play (not according to your paradigm) whereas the modern bots move the checkers and turn the cube ATS.
