I believe we have virtually solved the PVP cube questions and I have little problem wth them except at complex score situations. Checker play can be very challenging.
I think middle game checker play, where it is often very hard to settle on your game plain, is one of the toughest areas of the game. Properly defending back games is also very difficult. But I think that even giants will lose a lot of PR on containment checker plays.
As for cube decisions, 4 and 8 recubes can be very challenging over th board as you usually don't know the take points and gammon values and have compute them over the board.
