I wrote:

my 1296-trial GNU rollout indicates (via "View Statistics") that after 8/2* 6/2, Blue wins an undoubled gammon only about 12% of the time.

I forgot to include the undoubled backgammons. The corrected figure is that Blue wins an undoubled gammon or backgammon about 15% of the time, and wins a gammon or backgammon with the cube turned about 10% of the time.
