Grossly oversimplified, the luck rate that is displayed there reflects not who won the match, but who won more games. IMHO no one should ever look at that number. The luck cost, however, is essential for calculating the luck-adjusted result, which some people might find useful.

BTW, in your initial post you gave the unit of the luck rate as %, which is probably wrong and probably confused Bob Koca into thinking that you were actually talking about the luck cost.
