I strongly prefer an auction over a draft in Fantasy Sports.

Another way is to just let everyone choose his/her team and allow overlap. With Phil's veto of the top 16 Giants and the fact that you get to choose 10 makes serious overlap unlikely. OTOH, with overlap the scoring (as opposed to ABT points which are only awarded to a select few) should preferably be such that every player on your team should have some kind of score. You could do it by number of wins or number of wins times a depth factor (i.e. deeper in the bracket a player goes the more a win is worth).

Still, I prefer to see how Phil's rules go in S.A. If popular, the tweaks can occur later.
