In general one has to be cautious about assuming that the play with the highest pseudocubeless equity is also the play with the highest actual equity, but here that doesn't seem to be the problem. Running yields about 3.5% more pseudocubeless wins so priming would have to win a net 2 x 3.5% = 7% more pseudocubeless gammons, which it doesn't.
