We did the same with our (international) checkers team (10 players, Amsterdam) - take the bill, divide by 10, all chip in. It is Amsterdam so tipping is not needed (service included), but all that had a bit of money would add the tip, and all would had a more expensive dinner than the average would add that in as well. Usually we would end tipping 30-40% as a group, and it would go fast. 11 times a year.

BTW, where is the Zoo? Or was that the description of the dinner?
