Is it too late to respond to this post? I hope not :) Thanks for the comment Neil! I also saw your penalty proposal on the chat lobby of live streaming.

Firstly, I want to clarify that by no means my illegal play was intentional and I sent an apology in writing straight to Dodd Davies and his wife (one of the spectators). Every person that has played me before knows that I am fully pro fair play and I am always point out illegal moves myself. We all know after 3 consecutive days of pressure, the error rate goes up and these things happen (Needless to say that I was streaming the matches myself and the coordination of it sucked a lot of energy). You should have noticed when Dodd landed his checker from the bar, I paused for a few seconds and thought to myself something is unusual here! Then I said, I must be tired and didn't pay attention that his checker was actually on the bar! I carried on rolling and Neither Dodd nor the spectators noticed it (I wish someone could intervene there). So I don't really think proposing a penalty for illegal move makes that much sense as it must be on both sides to correct their illegal plays. 99% of them are not deliberate and you basically fine someone if he makes an error if he does that intentionally.

Regarding the move, I think I made a terrible error as I didn't spend too much time on it as I barely could think about my gameplan! I transcribed the match though and the PRs don't look too bad for a final. 3.8 (me) vs 5.5 (Dodd)

I hope you guys enjoyed watching the matches and I promise to provide a better quality streaming next year! I hope to see many of you as possible if not all in Cyprus!
