As a start, GNU's View Statistics tells you how often each player gets hit. As an example, I recently ran this analysis for a position that Murat posted.

To replicate these results yourself, set up Murat's position in GNU, but change the score to White 4-away, Blue 2-away, centered cube. Then edit the position to move 4 checkers from White's 5pt to her 4pt (to simulate moving 5/4(4)) and do a full rollout of White's cube decision. Then click on the "View Statistics" button and scroll down to see how often each player (in particular, White) gets hit.

Then repeat for the move 5/4 1/off(3).

Once you get the hang of the mechanics of viewing statistics in GNU, we can talk about how to make sense of the recube statistics.
