Right... We can't use advancing age as an excuse because we have a much bigger reservoir of experience to draw from which should more than make up for the fatigue factor. Besides what use is it to make an excuse for age when all we are going to do is get older???

We just need to stay focused, and it would not hurt to exercise more and lose some weight. David Rubin is in the best shape of any backgammon player and his mind is young and sharp. I fear him more at every event.

You still have the percentages dialed in pretty well and remain adept at "coffee housing". As long as you desire to avoid Burger King, you can keep learning and improving. Which you need to do to stay on top of the young guns.

No wonder under thirties dominate poker.
