S versus Z in nactation

In Response To: S versus Z in nactation (Timothy Chow)

FWIW, I am a student myself right now as this forum leaves me no choice but to get used to nactation or not understand what anyone is talking about. "S" makes me immediately think "split". For all of the cases where there is only one reasonable (or legal) split, it is the most intuitive notation. When the split is ambiguous, I will have to think "which one" regardless of the notation. It will not be obvious to me either way and I will have no choice but to memorize the rule and hopefully manage to remember it. In summary, I'm with Nack and I'd rather see an "S" whenever possible.
