What I would find interesting is to use some system like Chuck's to select the top 50 players and then people vote 1-50 with the top 31 points getting in. At the next tournament, the top two point getting people at the tournament not in the top 31 have a 25 point "play-in" match with winner getting number 32.

Failing that, I would like to point out that I am eligible to vote and I will be in LA next weekend and that I would look favorably upon someone who bought me a bottle of MaCallan 50 yr old, single malt Scotch. I mean someone would truly have to be a Giant to buy me that!
