Woolsey rule: lopsided scores & higher cube values

In general the Woolsey rule has its biggest flaws at lopsided scores and recubes but if I up and down the position myself and am not sure what the hell is going on or whether in his shoes I'd be happy if cubed or not cubed, that would lend credence to cubing.
There are so many ways to argue this position who knows what is really correct. I'd be most inclined to cube this against an equal opponent (if such a thing existed) whereas against a weaker or much weaker opponent maybe I'm more likely to get a pass than against the stronger opponent but I also hate life a lot more when they don't pass. If there's something I never want to see against really weak players in general it's cubes whose value => 4 coming at me.
I'm also 100% sure I'd take, but I'm also nearly 100% that someone who averages a 6 ER or worse won't be sure. Most weaker players have learned though that when playing the stronger player if the cube gets high and they're unsure of the t/p take! Rambling now...off...
