I have long considered this to be a philosophy. In fact, on this board, I have been criticized for misuse of Gammon Go. So, I called my version Gammon-Aggressive.

On a further point, if NMS, GG, GS, DMP doesnt describe every position play type, then there is at least one new play type that is missing. I think that all of the different play types should be covered. Whether its adding 'Aggressive' and 'Defensive' as play categories or whatever, we should be able to describe all of the different strategies.
