FYI we had an incident with Shahab at Nordic Open in 2012. The ruling by "The Complaint Committee" was published on our website as follows:

- - - The Complaint Committee (in Danish: Ordens- & Amatørudvalget) have ruled in the case of a complaint about Shahab Ghodsi brought forward by the Board of the Danish Backgammon Federation. The case regarded threats against a DBgF official after the Nordic Open 2012.

The ruling is based on written statements of the Board of the DBgF, the Tournament Director of the Nordic Open 2012, the DBgF official allegedly threatened and Shahab Ghodsi.

The Complaint Committee find that Shahab Ghodsi have made threats of special gravity. The documentation for this is quite convincing as the threats were made in writing.

Therefore Shahab Ghodsi is sanctioned: 3 years of suspension from DBgF events - both as a participants and a as an observer. A fine of 1000 DKK to be payed as soon as possible and before attending another DBgF event. Cancellation of the result achieved at the Nordic Open 2012. I.e. removal from official results lists.

This decision will be published in the DBgF internet debate site.
