Surely there would be players who would refuse to play unless he was banned. That has already happened actually.

Suppose the TD does ban him. There is often language about entrees possibly being refused. For example for the upcoming LA tournament: "We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone, whether to play or to observe." Just because it says that though does it mean it can legally be done? Is there recourse for a player who was refused?
