2. I'm not sure if this option is already available. Currently, when I'm playing a match against XG, the bot offers the cube on the same side of the board that my dice appear on. A couple of times, I've clicked the dice to indicate the end of my move, and then there has been a long pause while the bot thinks about doubling, but I've mistakenly thought that I didn't quite manage to click directly on the dice. So I try clicking the dice again, and at precisely that instant, the bot offers the cube, so I end up inadvertently taking or dropping. This problem could be avoided if my dice appear on the right-hand side and the offered cube appears on the left-hand side, which is what I'm accustomed to in live play.
