Pos. 1 Ignoring QF, Magriel's safe-vs-bold argue for the quiet 13/8. If hitting, I prefer continuing to the acepoint (hitting the second) over bringing down a builder. Getting sent to the bar, outboarded, is bad enough to toss purity aside. But for sure my OtB play is

Pos. 2 White is on the ropes and the play that best keeps him there is the most aggressive (pure) play available. This is about 'kill', not 'overkill'.
