You nitpickers, this is not constructive. Skill vs. luck ratio is just a question, which is not to settle. Please give me an instructive way to measure it. What is your definition of Luck? What is a joker?

Enter complexity. How do you compare completely different games? A similiar rating system, which produces a range among its competitors can be an instrument to measure it. If you have a better suggestion, you're welcome.

And if you want it the hard way, play rummy with 14 cards, not with ten. Not nine ball but snooker. Not poker but bridge. And Chess or Go instead of backgammon.

Backgammon is complex enough for us stooges. We should stop this infertile discussion.
