I've noticed several people give credence to the notion that match transcriptions shouldn't be made available unless the players consent. I understand the desire to be polite, but this seems silly. The match was a public event, not something done behind closed doors. There is no analysis included in the transcription, and I hardly think anyone has intellectual property rights to a checker play or cube decision. If there is something official in the terms of entry to the tournament, then I'll stand corrected, but I think the idea that a simple record of the moves played is off limits without permission from the players takes the whole etiquette thing way too far.
