I agree with you and that is one reason I wanted to see the match myself. However, I still think it's impressive to play a 1. In my own collection of 7-point matches, I think I've played under a 1 only about 1% of the time. Obviously the PR kings do better than that, but nobody is a favorite to play under a 1 in a single given match of 7 or more points. For most people, even if you give them five tries to play a match under a 1, they will not be a favorite to do so. So I think the result is somewhat impressive in the absence of seeing the actual match.
