The NJ app which also use gnu is a lot better with the cube. I only have 12 matches analyzed so can't say anything conclusive, but so far its overall PR is 2.6 (checkerplay 2.4 cube 3.8).

It's probably not a big concern for them to fix a bug, that will make it stronger, since most users already thinks it cheats.
