If I am fortunate enough to start the game with a point-maker like 31, I usually will look to bring down more wood on the next turn. Unstacking the midpoint is nice, but the maneuver is really about replenishing the depleted 8pt.

In this position, however, White has mangaged to advance his anchor, and make an inner-board point. I think splitting with the deuce now, before White can resupply himself with builders, in more important than playing off the midpoint.

Play one checker in “each” inner board.

E (Each) = 24/22, 6/5
