Count Me among the Opposition

While both Daniel and Bob make valid points, I have been surprised just how often Jacoby does interfere.

In August, I switched my UG practice sessions with XG from Jacoby/beavers to No-Jacoby/No-beavers. My biggest surprise, and so far my biggest benefit, comes with the frequent "too-good" decisions that I never faced when I could hide behind Jacoby. I am learning a ton, and the knowledge transfers almost directly to match play.

At this point, I do not anticipate switching back. I’m fully on-board with Neil Kazaross, Rick Janowski and many others in opposing the Jacoby Rule.
