In Response To: Backgammon's popularity - a call to the ABT and USBGF (Igor)

The question in my mind is "will you attract more players or push away more players by recording and publishing matches?"

I highly doubt that recording and publishing attracts many, if any, new players.

You might feel that backgammon should be sold as "... A game where..." But that's not why most people play backgammon or where the excitement for them enters the picture.
