At DMP I'd just play it safe with 16/6 - let black hit away, I'm happy to sit on the bar for a spell.

But with gammons afoot, I'll hit loose. Black will need 11 transitions to save gammon and I'll have two builders aimed at covering the blot while black needs to shake an ace to hit.

7/1* 6/2 gives me any six to cover (17) plus 11 21 31 & 41 for a total of 24 covers vs blacks 11 hits.

7/1* 7/3 gives me any 2 or 5 to hit (20) plus 11 & 41 for a total of 23.

Is that extra cover worth risking the 61 fly shot? I don't think so.
