The Future Is Streaming

Phil and Victor have both alluded to the added pressure that streaming of matches creates. For a player who is not used to being on a stage, I can understand how streaming might make things harder. In the long run, however, the publicity streaming creates is one of the best ways available to increase the visibility of backgammon and grow the game. Surely the sponsors we crave will insist upon it. For this reason I support the trend to require streaming in high-profile matches like the Dual Duel.

Phil, I am sorry to read that you are still reticent to release your XG match files or even identify the winners. You are so well known now that there is probably considerable interest in seeing your work.
